Minimally invasive periodontal procedures using YSGG laserA clinical presentation highlighting the procedures and benefits of minimally invasive periodontal therapy using YSGG laser.
The use of lasers in periodontal therapy can be controversial. While evidence is mounting in the field, it will take time for clinicians to recognise that they do not need to raise large flaps and carry out highly invasive treatment in order to optimise clinical outcomes. The YSGG laser provides a versatile tool to be able to carry out effective, successful and minimally invasive treatment.
Periodontitis is now considered a risk factor for early death. Its successful treatment is essential for oral and general health. Traditional treatment is associated with high patient morbidity and frequent relapse.
This webinar is a mostly clinical presentation highlighting the procedures and benefits of minimally invasive periodontal therapy using YSGG laser. It will include pocket elimination, bone regeneration and patient centred outcomes.
